The AJAX system aligns very well with the Gensix mission for residential and small businesses.
Mission Statement:
We empower a secure and intelligent future by designing and delivering comprehensive smart systems that seamlessly integrate security, automation, and energy management. Our solutions scale from basic needs to holistic facility control, leveraging cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and off-grid capabilities to ensure exceptional experiences in any environment.
At the core of what makes this system different is Integration: Compatibility with a wide range of smart home platforms and IoT devices. The natural question is how wide is the range of devices that can be integrated with the Ajax hub and app?
We can get a broader understanding of this by examining five methods by which the Ajax system achieves integration.
UartBridge: (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) Found in a broad spectrum of electronic components, from micro controllers to sensors. This standard allows simple device to device communication using two wires – connect multiple UART devices to the Ajax uartBridge with wire and they are then linked with the hub and available on the Ajax app.
The uartBridge module is designed for wireless integration, enabling Ajax devices to connect with third-party wireless security and smart home systems
ocBridge Plus: Designed for integrating wired and hybrid systems. This allows many existing wired alarm system and sensors to be integrated into the Ajax hub. The advantage here is that you can upgrade to Ajax without eliminating much of your existing wired alarm system. Where uartBridge doesn’t have dry contacts, the ocBridge features dry contacts for communication (NO/NC)
Onvif: A protocol that allows IP cameras to integrate with third party systems. Ajax currently allows integration of 500 different camera types using RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). Access to advanced features of cameras integrated with RTSP can be limited though, which is why we are pleased with the release of Ajax NVR and Cameras. The Ajax system will fully realise the potential of it’s own high resolution AI cameras.
Jeweller Multitransmitter: Provides a module to connect various different types of wired sensors directly to the module and then uses the reliable and efficient Jeweller wireless protocol to connect those to the Ajax hub and make them available on the app. Signal jamming is a major issue with wireless transmission. The Ajax detects jamming attempts and provides alerts and then uses it’s algorithms to switch frequency – securing the facility against all but the most high tech signal jamming techniques.
MultiTransmitter Fibra: Works like the Jeweller MT, but is designed to work with the wired part of the ajax eco-system. It supports a broad range of third-party wired detectors and can be configured extensively via the Ajax app to meet various security needs. It also allows for detailed customization of the connected devices, including alarm types and operating modes, enhancing the system’s flexibility and usability.
These are the systems that appeal to our mission statement. Allowing multiple interconnection scenario’s between a wide range of devices, including third party devices.
With the Ajax system we can achieve a similar level of integration in the home or small business to that which we achieve with our integrated BMS (building management system)
