Installing the Hype Module Mount the hype module to the wall HYYP Module will connect just above the X64 Label with the red cable to the top. Don;t pull on the cables, work with the plastic plug. Power the Hype Module from the panel auxiliary (-) 12V Left terminal on Module Common Ground (+) right – client has existing gsm radio (may be using the same terminal that we need for the HYYP) Connect the Network Cable to the HYYP Module and to the internet router. Make sure each core of the cat 5 cable is pushed up to the end. Make sure the jacket is pushed right in Green link light indicates a network link and the orange light indicates network activity Now go to instructions "how to reset comms port" RESET COMMS PORT First go into installer programming mode On the keypad do the following; [#][9999][*] this is the default installer code, use your installer code if you have set one Enter 196* The display will show 123456, but re-enter 123456* Press # to update the panel INSTALL THE HYYP APP Make sure your smart phone is on the wi-fi network Search for IDS HYYP smart home app on playstore Install as you would any other Playstore APP Open the HYYP app on the device, while connected to the local network or wifi Sign Up the Customer The password must have at least six characters Add the site, Give the site a name, --> Continue Manually add the IMEI number or scan it After scanning the code, the app is waiting for panel activity, go to the panel and repeat the “reset comms port procedure “123456”” describe above. After updating it will be confirmed and you will be logged in. The zone allocation is achieved by dipswitch combinations. 1 on- Zones 17 - 24 2 on - Zones 25-32 1&2 on - Zones 33-40 3 on- Zones 41-48 1&3 on - Zones 49-56 2&3 on - Zones 57-64 The yellow LED on the expander displays no error when it is solid. If the LED is pulsing on and off it indicates and error. Pulese 1 and off - Low Battery Pulsing twice - No activity on Serial Bus Pulsing three times - no x series message detected. Pulsing 4 Times - no message for the specific peripheral from the panel Pulsing 5 times - Awaiting Tamper change Pulse 6 - Expander Not registered on panel Pulse 7 Expander Tamper violated. The expanders are daisy chained one after another, and addressed by dispswitch. The basic steps are: Connect the expander to the bus in series, ie it must be daisy chained to the last connected device. Allocate zones to the expnder by setting the dipswitches Check the LED status light for errors Each step is explained in more detail in the FAQ under that specific question. The expander should start up and function Mount the Module by screwing to the wall Connect the module to the panel serial pins Power the module from the panel Aux Output Connect the Module to an Internet Router with Category 5/6 cable Reset the comms on the Keypad to update the panel Download and Install the IDS HYYP Smart Home App from the playstore while connected to the site wifi Complete the Customers details and register Give the site a name and continue Scan the device EMEI number from the device box Go back to the Keypad and reset comms as before You should then be logged in to the device. Remove all power from the panel Press and hold the default button Reconnect power with the button still depressed untill the status LED starts flashing Release the button Setting a stay profile on ids x64 Hold the 3 Key until a profile number appears on the Lcd screen Then you press the star button, which brings up the zone number display. You will scroll through here to add zones to this stay profile. The panic button on the curve LCD keypad is used to scroll through the zones. Scrolling through the zones, each zone will be labelled Y or N, indicating whether it is bypassed in this stay profile or not. To Change the status N to Y or Y to N you press the * Key, after setting a zone you can continue scrolling with the panic button. After selecting the zones required you can press the # key to exit. To use the stay arm function you will hold down the 5 key until the arm led lights and stay armed shows on the screen To disarm you will enter your code. To use the stay arm function you will hold down the 5 key until the arm led lights and stay armed shows on the screen To disarm enter your code. To setup partitions on the X64, you need to program the correct location. Location 201 = partition 1 Location 202 = partition 2 ……. Location 208 = partition 8 Again go into installer programming mode, on the keypad do the following; [#][9999][*] this is the default installer code, use your installer code if you have set one [201][*] Location 201 for partition 1 Again go into installer programming mode, on the keypad do the following; [#][9999][*] this is the default installer code, use your installer code if you have set one [201][*] Location 201 for partition 1 On LCD keypad [Zone Number][*] This is to choose the “Zone number” e.g. 10* for Zone 10 To enable the Zone for Partition set option to Y by press [*] Key When finished press the [#] key For example to enable Zones 9-12 on partition 1 [#][9999][*] [201][*] [9][*] [*] [10][*] [*] [11][*] [*] [12] [*] [*] [#] First go into installer programming mode On the keypad do the following; [#][9999][*] this is the default installer code, use your installer code if you have set one [1][*] this is location 1 which allows you to program any zone number [Zone number][*] enter the zone number to program then press the [*] key [Zone type][*] the zone values are the same as our IDS816/ IDS1632 panels You can just continue programming Zones [Zone Number][*] [Zone type][*] [Zone Number][*] [Zone type][*] Etc…. Hold [*] till BEEP, then [MASTER CODE] [*] [0] [*] [NEW USER CODE] [*], continue until all codes are entered then [#] to exit To add a sub user (user must install HYYP APP) click on the Site that you wish to share, 1. Make sure that the recorders time, date and time zone is correct, set the NTP server, you can use time.windows.com as the ntp server 2. Select the alarm option from the main menu on XVR, the enable MD for all required cameras, and set the post record setting to 30s. 3. select storage → Schedule, and set the schedule to MD, disable general , set pre-record to 30s 4. Select storage -> record and set the sub stream to auto 5. from main menu select camera –> encode. 6. From the main menu select network –> p2p The DVR is now prepared for integration with HYYP First prepare your recorder for the integration – see the relevant steps in this FAQ 1. open the HYYP app and select the site you want to link. 2. click the three dots in the top right hand corner
tap “Users.”
Click the add user icon in the top right hand corner to add a new sub-user.
enter the sub-users HYYP ID or scan their QR code (You can find this by going to
their “My Profile” option on the new user’s cell phone)
You will then select the partitions that the sub-user is entitled to use as well as the permissions they are allowed to access per partition and when finished you will click the arrow in the top left hand corner to exit and your sub-user will then be added.
