Traumatic Home Invasion
Brandon Joubert founded our company - then known as TESC, after experiencing a traumatic home invasion in 2003.
In 2003 CCTV Systems were uncommon. You would not find a CCTV camera online, and it was only available from a very few limited brick and mortar stores. After exhausting a local search for cctv cameras, Brandon extended his search overseas. Upon procuring some PICO capture cards, the import and distribution of cctv equipment formed the basis of our company. It was TESC that introduced brands like Dahua and TVT to South Africa in 2005, and the latter in 2009, through our national network of distributors. The Dahua brand now claims second place in market share. We think we know something about quality cctv products and invite you to view our current products at our online store.
TESC went on to establish itself as a leader in the Surveillance Field, and expanding our offering to integrated security system solutions -for a variety of clients, including high end residential estates - leading to our renaming to the more inclusive and representative name of Gensix Technology Pty Ltd - we still retain our original tesc.surveillance@gmail.com email address - steeped in our history.

Recently Brandon realized the importance of joining the effort to responsibly handle the waste generated by modern technology. He also saw an oppurtunity to redistribute technology to those who would normally not be able to afford it- Gensix Technology will now co-operate with ewaste, and general waste recyclers in Durban to make whatever contribution we are able to , towards the ethical and sustainable recycling of waste.
